My first –revenue generating– website development client operated a shop installing alarms and audio systems in cars and trucks. The original shop was across the street from the Wisconsin State Fair grounds and has since been relocated up the block by new owners using a different phonetic spelling of the business name.

First community website in Milwaukee launched as a blog in 1997 first archived in 1999 and thereafter. The site and the domain name were hijacked by a corrupt local website hosting service provider that named himself as the registrant when the domain name was registered.

The site then laid dormant for a year and a half until the State of Wisconsin Department of Corrections allowed the hosting provider who had become incarcerated in the Wisconsin State Prison in Waupun as a sex offender sign legal papers returning the domain registration back to me allowing the website to be migrated to a new hosting service provider.

That (and other factors) allowed competitors to rise up. METROmilwaukee has yet to recover commercially.

I narrowly escaped being arrested as a party to the crime alleged by the corrupt FBI when the trouble-making patriot Bernard von NotHaus was arrested, charged with counterfeitting.

The charges were bullshit of course. The e-commerce line of business I developed for him on the WWW became extraordinarily successful selling tens of millions of “dollars” as silver bullion and a paper currency Bernard had designed and developed.

The Liberty Dollar posed a real threat to the fake fiat paper printed by the Federal Reserve by disrupting their corrupt unconstitutional hegemonious monopoly that continues to control the business of money here in our so-called United States of America.

You want some real insight and entertainment along the way? Read about what happened keeping in mind much of what was and remains reported was and remains bullshit itself.

Our corrupt government must save face lest they lose the full faith and trust of the American people.

Bernard never served a day behind bars.😎

William (Bill) Roddis Jr. was the most interesting person I have ever worked for –ever–  for a period of ~8 years. Streets are named after the Roddis family in Marshfield, WI.

The Roddis Lumber and Veneer Company became celebrated during WWII when William Sr. a renowned expert in the formulary of glue required for manufacturing veneers and structural plywood engineered and manufactured the structural plywood for Britain’s infamous fleet of Mosquito Bomber combat aircraft.

The Roddis family followed up by engineering and manufacturing the structural plywood for the H-4 Hercules aka the “Spruce Goose” as ridiculed by competitors of Howard Hughes who engineered, built and flew the aircraft that made aeronautical history.

Bill established Roddiscraft Custom Wood Windows & Doors in Milwaukee and hired me during my 1986 graduate year as a student at the University of Wisconsin School of Architecture & Urban Planning.

  • Converted metric unit hardware drawings from Germany into English foot-inch units using AutoCad® to generate shop drawings for custom wood windows and doors.
  • Served as Construction Manager.
  • Served as laison to architects.
  • Developed photographs, drawings and product specifications published in Sweet’s General Building & Renovation Catalog File: CSI Division 08.
  • Developed website to serve as an AutoCad drawing library architects could reference and download Computer Aided Design (CAD) files from.

This website project was very successful as it achieved and maintained search engine placement –above the fold– when searching for after market truck parts and accessories holding its search engine results position for three years.

Alas, the owner of the company was teased by golf buddies who ridiculed the website claiming it lacked “pizazz” resulting in a new website the owner tried to develop himself.🤪

Apparently, Ultimate Truck went out of business. The store is now occupied by Toys for Trucks a nation-wide after market parts and accessories retailer with  twelve locations.
